We recently joined forces with Matae to bring you an interactive review of Matae's new Change Workspace Tool. Our review has been contributing towards the tool pilot, and providing feedback for the product roadmap. Matae has been making enhancements based on our feedback, and will soon provide an updated version for us to trial and review. In this Saturday Catch-up, forget a trip to Bunnings, read up instead on Change Management Tools as we take a look at what we've seen so far in Matae's Change Workspace.
Our journey started on 30 April with Change Management Tools: We're Change Mates with Matae! We introduced Change Workspace and our interactive trial. The web-based Change Workspace will be available as a free-standing tool for change managers designed to replace your spreadsheets and make change planning easier. When combined with organisational data, Change Workspace claims to offer a complete workflow that enables management of your change deliverables, training, activities, change risks and tactics with an inbuilt project management tool designed for managing the people side of change.
We heard from Matae Founder, Matt Dragun on 7 May 2024 in his guest blog Change Challenges are Universal. Matt says he's consistently inspired by the passion and dedication change and transformation professionals bring to their work. Yet also reminded of the universal challenges they face. "Despite our diverse contexts, we often find ourselves battling similar obstacles. It's like fighting the same battle on different fronts. Reflecting on these conversations, I've decided to share the most common challenges that I hear from our clients and prospects."
Next we saw Change Management Tools: Change is all about the People on 9 May. We use tools for various reasons, and our motivations can differ based on the context and the specific type of tool. In change management, we want somewhere to park lots of detailed information that we learn from our stakeholders, we want to organise various activities, timelines and changes and most of all, we want to understand the people involved: who they are, how they fit together and what we need to do to support them.
Published the following week on 15 May 2024 was Change Management Tools: How Matae Change Workspace handles Change Activities. Change management platforms need to offer more than just a collaborative space to share information. How our potential tools handle change activities has got to be among the paramount criteria for assessing their value add to our change management processes. But more than that, modern tools need to bring in the best of the platforms that went before them. As we look at how Matae Change Workspace handles Change Activities, we need to also understand what it considers a change activity to be.
Now up to date with the latest post on 22 May 2024, we published Change Management Tools: Matae Change Workspace pursues data-driven change management. Driving towards a single view of change, Matae's tool is open to interpretation allowing each individual change manager to pull together the metrics you want to see in a Business Readiness Assessment, including the inbuilt functionality of surveys and sentiment analysis.
The interactive review of Matae Change Workspace continues, so feel free to drop us a comment. To participate and try out the features for yourself, sign up for your own trial here: https://www.changeworkspace.io/try-for-free-agencia-change
